If you are looking for a wedding setting with country charm,
come to The Little Brown Church built between 1860-1864.
We provide the church, minister and wedding hostess, and
can arrange for witnesses if needed, an organist, and if
desired, a soloist.
All wedding ceremonies are approximately 15 minutes in
length with slight variations in length due to the uniqueness
of the Pastor's words of encouragement, the number of
persons in the wedding party or the inclusion of one or two
solos. We do require weddings with 50 people or more in
attendance to reserve the church for at least one hour to
insure there will be an adequate amount of time for guests
to be seated and to allow time for the possibility of
additional photographs.
There will be no same sex marriages at The Little Brown
Church. We are an old country Church and prefer to remain
as such. Please understand that we harbor no malice
toward, nor wish harm upon anyone. The message we are
receiving from the gay community is that we should accept
them for whom they are. We would appreciate the same
courtesy being extended to us.

You can request a specific date/time that is not listed on
our website by contacting the church. Registration forms
will be sent after a date and time has been booked.
There is a non-refundable deposit made payable to the
church required when you submit the form. If you must
reschedule, the deposit will be honored for 1 year from
the original scheduled wedding date.
DIRECTIONS:
The church is located on Highway # 346 between
Highway 218 (Nashua exit 220) and Highway 63
(exit 196), 3 miles N. E. of Nashua, Iowa.

RENEWAL SERVICES:
Weekday 1/2 Hour:
$75 ($40 deposit)
Saturday 1/2 Hour:
$150 ($75 deposit)
All deposits are half of the service fee with the balance due on or before the day of the service.
Service includes: use of the church, Pastor, dressing rooms, sanctuary flowers, and ringing of the church bell. |

Rose and Vase Unity Service: $5.00

WEDDING PARTY:
1/2 Hour Service:
4 people in wedding party plus bride and groom
1 Hour Service:
6 people in wedding party plus bride and groom.
Your reservation time of 1/2 hour or 1 hour includes
the time for the total service and pictures.
Time schedules MUST be honored by all parties.
You are to report to the office which is located in the
house across the highway from the church at least
one half hour before your service.
WHAT YOU NEED AT THE OFFICE:
An Iowa Certificate of MARRIAGE.
NOTE: There is a three (3) day waiting period for an
Iowa Marriage License. To obtain an application for
an Iowa Marriage License please contact

DRESSING ROOMS:
The dressing rooms are located at the church office.
All personal items MUST be removed from dressing
rooms before reporting to the church as they will
be occupied by the next wedding party.
RECEPTIONS:
If you are interested in having a reception or have
questions, please contact the church office for a form.
PHOTOGRAPHY:
Pictures and video taping are allowed during the
service with your own cameras or photographer or you can contact the church's photographer, Ben Scholl, at 641-430-0060 or at www.benschollphotography.com.
A photography brochure will be sent with the registration packet.
VIDEOGRAPHY:
A videography brochure will be sent with your
wedding registration packet. Booking information
and pricing is listed on the brochure.

PLEASE NOTE:
The church is air conditioned and handicap accessible.
The church asks that you NOT use alcoholic beverages
on the church grounds or in the dressing room area.
