ANNUAL MARRIAGE REUNION-AUGUST 2ND AND 3RD, 2008
BRADFORD PIONEER VILLAGE AND MUSEUM ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL
The 56th Annual Marriage Reunion will be held this year on August 2nd and 3rd, 2008 at The Little Brown Church. The Little Brown Church and The Bradford Pioneer Village and Museum will be working together this year for the first time. The Nashua Main Street Matter organization will be participating in the events held on Saturday.
Saturday, August 2, 2008: Main Street Matters will be hosting an antique automobile and farm equipment show from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in downtown Nashua. A parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a meal following in the downtown area from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Pastor James Mann and his wife Vicky invite you to join them at the church for the Pastor's Reception at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Mann is nearing the anniversary of his first year of service with The Little Brown Church. This year, we are excited to announce our first ever "The Church in the Wildwood" Talent Competition. All performances must have something to do with the hymn, "The Church in the Wildwood" or also known as "The Little Brown Church in the Vale". If you would like to perform please call the office at 641-435-2027 to register for a performance time.
Sunday, August 3, 2008: We will start the day with registration at 8:30 a.m. Coffee, juice, and doughnuts will be available before the worship service starts. A free will donation is appreciated. A sing-a-long time will take place at 10:15 a.m. and the worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Renewal of Wedding Vows will take place during the morning worship service and in the afternoon following the entertainment. The Bradford Pioneer Village and Museum will be open free to the public all day on Sunday.
Lunch will be a joint venture this year featuring grilled pork tenderloin sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, ice cream & pie, coffee, tea, and lemonade. There is a fee of $7.00 for the noon meal ticket which can be purchased after registering. If you wish, meal tickets can also be purchased in advance at the church, Chick-A-Dee Garden, Bradford Pioneer Village and Museum, and Nashua Pharmacy. Dan's Band from Sheffield will be entertaining from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and Janice Edson will be singing for our afternoon's entertainment. Prizes will be awarded during the afternoon program. Come rain or shine all of our afternoon activities will be held under the tent. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and camera.

Please be aware that The Iowa Department of Transportation is resurfacing Iowa Highway 346 this summer. This highway that goes by the church WILL REMAIN OPEN AT ALL TIMES. Therefore, you may want to plan for extra travel time this year.
